In this article, we’ll regularly update you with the latest set of patch notes, focusing on weapon balance. You can also find info below on when to expect the next patch, and how big the current patch is. Let’s get started.

Note: These are the Warzone patch notes. Here are the latest Modern Warfare 3 patch notes, if you’re looking for standard multiplayer updates.

When Is Warzone Updated?

Warzone will continue to receive weekly balancing patches on Wednesdays at 9 am PT (12 pm ET / 5 pm GMT / 6 pm CET), as was the case during MW2019, BOCW, Vanguard, and MW2. Although, smaller “hot patches” are deployed at any time in response to major bugs, and seasonal updates are only deployed every couple of months.

If the date and time of Warzone’s weekly update changes, then we will keep you informed.

Warzone Update / Version 1.034 (December 6) | Patch Size

This patch is at least 38 GB on all platforms. This update contains all of MW3, which includes 36 new weapons and even a new BR map. But hey, at least you can now delete all of MW2.

Crazy to think the game isn’t even bigger on hard drive in general, especially given how massive it was during MW2019 and BOCW.

Warzone Update / Version 1.034 (December 6) | At A Glance

Here is a quick overview of some highlights from this patch:

  • You can reload while sprinting.
  • BR matches are slightly shorter, now only 20 minutes.
  • The player count has been reduced to max 100 players.
  • Slide-cancelling is back.

      • The distinctive white visual design of the Loadout crate from 2020 makes its return!
